Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Cardiac Technologist to join our team at Sault Area Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic non-invasive cardiology tests and other designated duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Cardiac Stress Testing and ECG Testing, as well as Holter Monitoring.
  • Operate the Holter Scanner and ensure equipment is clean and maintained.
  • Transfer exams to the Philips iECG Management system.
  • Promote professionalism within the department, emphasizing confidentiality, personal appearance, and teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited CardioVascular Technology Program.
  • Certification or eligibility for certification with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT).

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and telephone skills.
  • Human relations skills, including empathy, sensitivity, and understanding of human and organizational behavior.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literacy in a Microsoft environment.
  • Behaviour consistent with Hospital Mission, Values, and Standards of Performance.
