Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at DAYS INN BY WYNDHAM SYLVAN LAKE.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that our facilities are clean and well-maintained. This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities- Hire, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure that our facilities are clean and well-maintained.
- Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates for cleaning supplies and services.
- Recommend or arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repair work, or renovations.
- Co-ordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
