Job Title: Building Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Superintendent to join our team at 2960 Don Mills Rd Apts.

Job Summary:

The Building Superintendent will be responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of our residential complex, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our tenants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as making minor repairs to heating, cooling, and electrical systems.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and ensure that the property is kept clean and free of debris.
  • Security and Safety: Conduct regular safety and security checks, and ensure that all necessary protocols are in place to protect tenants and staff.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with tenants, staff, and contractors to ensure that all needs are met and that the property is running smoothly.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, and reliability.
