Canadian Linen & Uniform Service Corp. is seeking an experienced Service Center Manager to oversee the daily operations of our service centers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, driving business growth, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and develop a team of service personnel to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business growth.
  2. Analyze reports and implement corrective actions to address trends and improve performance.
  3. Create a sales culture that fosters team selling and identifies growth opportunities.
  4. Coordinate new account installations and manage customer service programs.
  5. Visit customers regularly to review growth and service opportunities.
  6. Conduct weekly route performance meetings with service representatives.
  7. Hold service representatives accountable for timely service request resolution.
  8. Set clear expectations for customer service and lead by example.
  9. Travel with service professionals to conduct observations and visit customer locations.
  10. Ensure service representatives proactively follow up on accounts in jeopardy and resolve service concerns expeditiously.
  11. Recruit, select, and hire service representatives.
  12. Deliver and participate in training to ensure customer retention and service goals are met.
  13. Daily contact with service managers to address pending items and ensure timely resolution.
  14. Conduct performance evaluations for service managers and provide feedback on management and leadership skills.
  15. Ensure effective collection of accounts receivable and assist when necessary.
  16. Promote and sustain a safety culture.
  17. Investigate and report on accidents or incidents within 24 hours.
  18. Maintain high moral character and business ethics that align with Canadian Linen and Uniform Services Corporate Standards.
  19. Support an environment of continuous improvement by suggesting and implementing ideas.
  20. Lead meetings and complete administrative work to improve customer satisfaction.
  21. Directly resolve or elicit expertise of company staff personnel in resolving matters related to the profitable, safe, and efficient operation of the market center.
  22. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations that affect the market center.
  23. Comply with federal regulations and company safety policies and practices to promote safety awareness in the market centers.
  24. Perform other duties as required or assigned that are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  2. Production management and customer service experience.
  3. Profit and loss responsibility.
  4. Significant customer interface and service responsibilities.
  5. Considerable knowledge of financial information relating to profit and loss sales and capital expenses.
  6. Demonstrated ability to successfully interface with a variety of organizational functions to get the job done.
  7. Computer proficiency.
  8. Exposure to sales function preferred.
  9. Strong operations management background.
  10. Considerable skills in management, human relations, and communication.
  11. Production planning, maintenance, or warehouse operations preferred.
