Job Title: Chief Estimator

EBC Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Estimator to lead our estimating team in delivering high-quality estimates for major infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the estimation process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and providing strategic guidance to our estimators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of estimators in preparing estimates for proposals, bids, and projects in progress
  • Develop and implement estimating strategies to meet project deadlines and budget requirements
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates
  • Manage and maintain data banks, bid priorities, and subcontracting strategies
  • Ensure compliance with ISO processes and quality standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or construction engineering, or equivalent experience and training
  • Member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in estimating major projects and/or urban works
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
