Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Clerk to join our Diagnostic Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of diagnostic services, providing exceptional customer service to clients, and working effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks related to diagnostic services, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication with clients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of diagnostic reports and other documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Recent experience in a hospital or medical clinic setting, with a focus on direct public contact and diagnostic service information.
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows-based programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in office administration or a related field.
  • Experience with medical terminology and diagnostic procedures.
  • Knowledge of Cree language and culture an asset.
