Job Title: Diagnostic Clerk

Shared Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Diagnostic Clerk to join our team. As a Diagnostic Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of diagnostic services to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and healthcare professionals
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
  • Coordinate and schedule diagnostic services and appointments
  • Operate and maintain office equipment, including computers, fax machines, and copiers
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Recent experience in a hospital or medical clinic setting, preferably with direct public contact
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows-based programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Pleasant and courteous telephone manner
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of post-secondary education in office administration
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to speak Cree (an asset)
Working Conditions:
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer
  • Interacts with the public
  • Sitting for long periods
