Bakery Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Manager to join our team at Boxcar Donuts Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring the highest quality products are produced and delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise a team of bakers and production staff to ensure efficient and effective production of baked goods.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize production.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and quality standards, including HACCP and sanitation procedures.
  • Train and develop staff to improve skills and knowledge, and to promote a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or food production environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and quality control.
