Job Title: Relief Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relief Pharmacist to join our team at Lawtons Pharmacy in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. As a Relief Pharmacist, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our customers, medical practitioners, and other retail pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide pharmacy services and support to customers, medical practitioners, and other retail pharmacies
  • Work within assigned territory to achieve excellence in patient-focused care, customer service, workflow efficiencies, and professional clinical services
  • Actively contribute to a positive and productive work environment
  • Focus on clinical services, including disease state management, medication reviews, health risk assessments, and patient counseling
  • Prescribe medications and provide technical functions to Pharmacy Assistants when available
  • Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient information
  • Coach pharmacy students and Pharmacy Assistants (if applicable)
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
  • Licensed Pharmacist in the province of responsibility
  • Injection Certification
  • Previous experience in a retail and/or retail pharmacy setting preferred
