We are seeking an accomplished Strategic Portfolio Manager to lead our research initiatives in Global Macro Insights. This pivotal role will shape and define a research agenda that influences key investment decisions within Total Fund Management.

About the Opportunity

The Principal, Total Fund Management – Global Macro Insights, will partner closely with other investment teams and functional groups to drive strategic objectives. Reporting directly to the Chief Economist, you will work alongside a network of accomplished colleagues across various groups within Total Fund Management department.

  • Conduct advanced macro research with a regional focus and take the lead on coverage of a major asset class.
  • Support research into the development of various indicators in areas such as the economic cycle and monetary policy.
  • Drive the Global Macro Insights agenda as it builds its brand and credibility.
What We're Looking For

We require a highly skilled individual with:

  • Advanced quantitative and econometric expertise, with proven experience applying these skills to portfolio construction and investment strategy modeling.
  • Strong ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Python is an asset.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with:
