At Element Fleet Management, we're redefining the fleet management industry to be people-first, then business. We're seeking a highly skilled Fleet Manager to join our team and help us deliver exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities  

  

As a Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for managing and directing defined aspects of Client's fleet operations. This includes overseeing policy compliance and reporting, developing and implementing vehicle and equipment specifications and cost management programs, managing fleet department budget, and developing and maintaining outside vendor and service provider relationships.

  

You will be the primary contact with key suppliers of vehicles and related support services, maintaining a professional relationship that facilitates cost and service in the best interests of the Client, while adhering to fleet industry Best Practices.

  

Knowledgeable of, and advises Client on, fleet-specific regulatory matters and related fleet policy compliance.

  

Requirements  

  • Bachelor's degree in a business discipline

  • 7-10 years Fleet Manager/Industry experience

  • CAFM accredited

  • Strong capabilities to effectively consult, influence, negotiate and to lead change

  • Strong rapport-building and effective relationship skills with persons having a broad range of backgrounds

  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, project management and planning capability

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential

  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), strong presentation skills; an effective listener

  • Fleet Industry knowledge

  • Experience with presenting new ideas to executive level

  • Proficient in at least one of the data visualizations tools, Excel; strong data mining skills
