Job Summary

AirRoad Xpress Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation network, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely: Operate a tractor-trailer in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload cargo at designated locations, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Perform Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Record Important Information: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
Work Environment

This is an on the road job, requiring a significant amount of time spent driving and away from home. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The typical work week is 50 to 60 hours.
