About the Role

AirRoad Xpress Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a tractor-trailer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely: Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across the country, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods at designated locations, ensuring that all cargo is secure and properly handled.
  • Perform Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure that it is in good working condition and to identify any potential issues.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Record Cargo Information: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 50 to 60 hours per week.
