Job Summary

EAGLE SHUNT SERVICE LTD. is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer and transport goods across the country, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other drivers to coordinate routes and schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo and the vehicle at all times.
Requirements
  • AZ class license and a valid driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with dispatch and other drivers.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects, and to sit for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including overtime and weekends.
