About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Epic College of Technology Inc. as a Facilities Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including emptying trash cans and waste containers, making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Repairs and Upkeep: Perform minor repairs on appliances, move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be fluent in English and will work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
