Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at AG Marketing & Development Group Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our building.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris; empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens; move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Sanitation and Hygiene: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Repetitive tasks; physically demanding; bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility; organized; reliability.
