Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Indigenous Peoples Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will play a critical role in attracting, retaining, and developing Indigenous talent within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and engage Indigenous candidates
  • Build relationships with Indigenous communities, organizations, and networks to promote CIBC's commitment to diversity and inclusion
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and address recruitment needs and develop targeted recruitment plans
  • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on Indigenous recruitment best practices and cultural competency
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous talent pipelines and networks
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Indigenous cultures, histories, and experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices and cultural competency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
