IT Risk Specialist Job Description

Atlantic Lottery Corporation is seeking a highly skilled IT Risk Specialist to join our team in Moncton, NB. As an IT Risk Specialist, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks associated with our IT infrastructure and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert risk advice and facilitate risk assessments for various technical projects and daily operations.
  • Implement and advance Atlantic Lottery's risk framework, aligning identified risks with our strategic goals and managing our risk management system.
  • Identify and assess operational, strategic, IT, governance, regulatory, and external risks, ensuring we stay ahead of the game.
  • Work with Senior Leadership and business leads to create a Quarterly Risk Report, summarizing key risks, mitigation efforts, and emerging threats for Senior Management and the Audit Committee.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT, IT Security, project management, or a related field.
  • IT or Risk certifications like CRM, CIA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent are a plus.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Experience with IT infrastructure, security concepts/standards, and data management principles.
