Human Resources Generalist

At ARES Staffing Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a wide range of HR programs, including recruitment, employee relations, health and safety, and learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:- Support HR programs and services, including full-cycle recruitment, benefits, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and health and safety.
- Partner with the Director, Human Resources to plan and implement HR initiatives.
- Prepare reports and documentation for WSIB and workers' compensation, assist with disability management and return-to-work programs.
- Develop and maintain HR forms, update training matrices and HR databases, and prepare onboarding packages and coordinate new hire orientation.
- 4+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or Coordinator.
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources.
- Extensive knowledge of employment legislation.
- Proven work experience with WSIB and related activities.
- Excellent computer skills with an emphasis on MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Superb organization and time management skills with the ability to problem solve.
- Ability to work well with others in a team setting.
