The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in labour and delivery, with experience in assessing, analyzing, prioritizing, planning, and evaluating care. A current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses in Ontario is required, as well as a Diploma or Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing antenatal, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, breastfeeding support, infant care, and perinatal loss care
  • Assessing patients' physiological, psychosocial, and emotional needs
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe patient care

The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to excel in their role.
