Job Summary
The Security Officer role at Prairie Mountain Health is a critical position that requires a unique blend of security expertise and healthcare knowledge. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible presence within the health facility to prevent and respond to security incidents.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other agencies to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Support a positive and respectful work environment by working effectively with staff and clients.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide support to the incident commander.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility and grounds to identify and report any security concerns.
- Monitor and maintain security systems, including CCTV and card access.
- Provide training and orientation to security personnel as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the security and safety of the facility.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of security principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
