Senior Financial Analyst, Banking Innovator

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst to join our fast-paced Financial Planning and Reporting team at EQ Bank | Equitable Bank. As a key member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and making informed strategic decisions.
Job SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex financial models that provide insights into key business metrics. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance of Financial Models (35%): Develop and maintain accurate and efficient financial models that drive key business decisions.
- Enhance Financial Analyses and Processes (25%): Collaborate with team members to enhance financial models, processes, and tools to improve technical accuracy and efficiency.
- Financial Analysis/Ad hoc Reporting (40%): Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis requests as required, demonstrating a high degree of flexibility and attention to detail.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business; CFA/CPA designation is preferred.
- At least 4-5 years of progressive and relevant work experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including developing/running macros.
- Experience using technology to gather and manipulate data.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities (multi-tasking).
