Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Weeneebayko Area Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and developing care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current registration with the provincial or territorial nursing regulatory body.
- 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a similar role.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, and First Aid Certificate.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
