Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Weeneebayko Area Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

This is a permanent full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients and families
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop strategies for care
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the provincial or territorial nursing regulatory authority
  • 2 years of experience in a hospital or medical facility setting
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
