Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at STI Transport Inc. as a Logistics Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Logistics Coordination: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, ensuring safety and security of cargo, and perform tarping as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, judgement, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work a 50-hour week, with a permanent work term and English as the primary work language.
