We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our SAP HANA Product Management team as an intern. As a product manager intern, you will be responsible for developing and executing product strategy, gathering and prioritizing product requirements, and researching markets and competition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute product strategy to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Research markets and competition to identify opportunities and threats
  • Administer feedback gathering programs to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Respond to queries from customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Create sample programs for new and upcoming technology to demonstrate product capabilities
  • Write technical tips and whitepapers to educate customers and partners
  • Assist in the testing of new products during their beta cycles to ensure quality and reliability
  • Monitor online communities to stay informed about customer needs and preferences
  • Develop and review documents, product demonstrations, webcasts, and other related activities with team members to ensure alignment and consistency

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of database administration/management tools, database application development (SQL, JDBC), and web application and services development (HTML, JavaScript, PHP, RESTful)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, partners, and team members
  • Willingness and ability to learn new concepts and technologies to stay up-to-date with industry trends
  • Linux operating system experience, programming skills (C/C++, Java,.NET, Python), and technical research and writing skills
  • Familiarity with bug/issue tracking tools such as JIRA and Bugzilla, team collaboration (wiki) software such as Atlassian Confluence, and SAP technologies (SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, and SAP Crystal Reports)
