Job Title: Trucking Company General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trucking Company General Manager to join our team at North Eastern Trucking Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Allocate resources to implement organizational policies and programs, establish financial and administrative controls, and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Strategic Planning: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Supervision: Staff in various areas of responsibility.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years or equivalent experience.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Computer and Technology: MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, team player.
Work Environment:
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
