Job Title: Trucking Company General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trucking Company General Manager to join our team at North Eastern Trucking Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Allocate resources, establish financial and administrative controls, and formulate policies and programs to drive business growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Establish objectives, formulate policies, and approve programs to ensure the organization's success.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise staff in various areas of responsibility.
  • Technical Skills: Possess strong computer and technology knowledge, including MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by conducting criminal record checks.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, be a team player, and possess a strong work ethic.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the trucking industry.

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
  • 35 hours per week.
