About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure projects at Humber College. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery, from development to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate and manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers
  • Monitor and report on project progress, and identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the mechanical and electrical infrastructure sector
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks
  • Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project, Primavera, and Asana
