The Senior Property Manager is responsible for the performance of a diverse portfolio of properties, including commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, with experience in both commercial and residential settings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring tenant satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional customer service and consistent communication. This includes coordinating incoming and outgoing tenancies, preparing annual operating and capital budgets, and reviewing monthly financial statements to identify variances and trends.
The role also involves overseeing the residential manager and maintenance team, ensuring task and project completion, and timely collection of rent and other receivables. Additionally, the individual will establish and maintain property-specific preventative repair and maintenance programs, conduct routine inspections, and secure properties by contracting with security services and responding to emergencies.
Key qualifications include 3-5 years of commercial property management experience, 2-3 years of residential property management experience, and formal education and/or property management designations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and Yardi Voyager experience is beneficial.
