As the Property Manager, you will oversee a diverse portfolio spanning both Canada and the United States. Your responsibilities will include developing operating budgets for various properties and managing tenant allocations. You will handle year-end reconciliations, negotiate rental rates, and prepare leases. Additionally, you will coordinate repairs and renovations by hiring and managing trades. Overseeing other territory managers will also be a key part of this role, ensuring effective and seamless operations across all locations.
What you need to succeed
To excel in this role as Property Manager, you would need strong organizational and financial management skills to oversee property operations, budgets, and tenant allocations effectively. An in-depth understanding of real estate and property management principles, including lease negotiation, rental rate structuring, and year-end reconciliations, is crucial. Exceptional communication and leadership abilities are vital for managing territory managers, collaborating with tenants, and coordinating with trades for repairs and renovations. Additionally, a proactive mindset, problem-solving aptitude, and the ability to adapt to the complexities of managing a cross-border portfolio in both Canada and the United States are key to thriving in this role. Holding a degree or designation within a relevant field is considered a valuable asset.
What you get in return
In recognition of your dedication, this role offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $130,000, depending on your experience, along with a performance-based bonus. Additional benefits include four weeks of vacation, an extended health package, and on-site parking.
