Assistant Store Manager

As a key member of our retail team, the Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and fostering a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to implement visual merchandising directives, maintain store standards, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supervise floor coverage, including opening and closing the store, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer engagement, and increase customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve financial and operational objectives, including expense control, loss prevention, and store audits.
  • Recruit, train, and develop store staff to meet business needs and ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Model behavior that respects the background, experience, and cultural differences of others, while upholding the integrity and values of the VF Corporation and The North Face brand.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of store leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales results, drive business growth, and improve customer engagement.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and software programs.
  • Associate Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
