Robert Half is seeking a skilled Cost Accountant to assist in the control and maintenance of the company's standard cost system. The successful candidate will perform month-end and year-end closing functions, prepare detailed cost, sales, and inventory reconciliations, and post month-end and related journal entries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the total cost management systems.
  • Support the variance analysis of production and OH accounts.
  • Support gross margin analysis.
  • Support the budgeted cost maintenance.
  • Complete account reconciliations as assigned.
  • Support tooling inventory and costing.
  • Support the reviewing of the requisition log.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end audit package.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
Requirements

Qualifications

Strong In-Depth 5+ years of Cost Accounting Experience

Industrial experience in Manufacturing, preferred in Customized production environment

Strong computer and analytical skills

Thorough working experience with ERP systems

Advance Excel skills with a comfort navigating large scale spreadsheets

Enrolled in the CPA at the advanced level
