Position Overview:As the Chief Software Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing Software Development: Manage the complete software development lifecycle for our educational platforms, from conception to deployment and ongoing support.
- Strategic Direction: Formulate and implement the software strategy that aligns with our institutional goals. Establish objectives, prioritize initiatives, and lead critical projects.
- Team Leadership: Build and guide a high-performing software engineering team. Provide mentorship and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Code Contribution: While your primary role is strategic leadership, you will also have opportunities to contribute directly to software development as needed.
- Product Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including curriculum developers and IT specialists, to integrate software into our educational offerings.
- Solution Architecture: Design and implement scalable software solutions that enhance the functionality and performance of our platforms.
- Innovation Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Introduce new methodologies to improve our software capabilities.

Who You Are:The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following skills and experiences:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 10 years in software development, ideally within educational technology or related fields.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in software development methodologies, programming languages, and tools. Experience with educational software development is a plus.
- Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead and manage software engineering teams, inspiring and developing team members.
- Strategic Mindset: Capability to create and execute strategic plans that enhance organizational efficiency.
- Collaborative Approach: Experience working with diverse teams and driving collaborative efforts.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic environment with a high degree of change.
