Tomlinson is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Assistant to support the construction team in day-to-day operations. This role involves frequent field work and requires strong administrative skills.

Main Responsibilities


  • Train and assist foremen with program updates for new and existing software.
  • Maintain and coordinate employee training.
  • Register field staff to work in Quebec.
  • Create and maintain weekly Crew Schedule.
  • Assist with daily work records, time material sheets, and equipment tracking.
  • Assist with printing documentation and general information to be distributed to the team.
  • Time entry for equipment and labour as required.
  • Coordinate, attend, and take minutes for meetings.
  • Assist with payroll issues.
  • Coordinate field vacation schedule.
  • Tracks, records, and reports attendance of all site personnel.
  • Manage all permit requests and ensure they are up to date.
  • Support the management team as required.
  • Prepare documents for standard contract submittals and project setup.


Working Conditions


  • Working in a standard office environment and construction sites.
  • Adaptable to a flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines.


Education and Experience


  • Post-secondary education is preferred.
  • MS Office experience.
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to deal tactfully with employees, visitors, and customers.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are required.
  • Experience with SAP is considered an asset.
