Job Title: Senior Project Control Coordinator


About the Role:


The Project Control Coordinator role is a vital part of the Project Control Office, where you will support project coordination and procurement tracker services.


About the Position:


This position is a key member of the Project Control Office team and contributes to delivering projects that support the Defence industry. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Project Support: Track and report project progress, develop project management plans, and coordinate project activities.
  • Document Management: Create and manage project management document templates, including project management plans, communication plans, and procurement strategies.
  • Project Data: Enter, track, and manage project data into systems such as DRMIS and RDIMS.
  • Procurement Support: Participate in procurement program management, manage procurement files, and produce status reports.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate project activities, including meetings, and provide administrative support to project teams.
  • Financial Analysis: Collate and summarize project financial data, and prepare financial documents.

Qualifications:



  • Education: An undergraduate degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Science, Project Management, Business Administration, or a suitable engineering or technical field.
  • Certification: PMP certification.
  • Security Clearance: Eligible for a Secret Level 2 PSPC (Government) security clearance.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a project-related role, such as Project Management Officer or Project Control Officer.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, experience with MS Office, and proficiency in MS Project, Visio, and Teams.
  • Additional Requirements: Experience working with Government procurement processes and DND would be an asset.
