Medical Physicist

Alberta Health Services is seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team at the Arthur Child Comprehensive Cancer Center in Calgary, Alberta. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the provision of high-quality, safe, and efficient imaging services.
Key Responsibilities- Support clinical services and quality assurance initiatives
- Commission and maintain imaging equipment and ancillary support equipment
- Develop and implement new techniques and protocols
- Provide leadership and direction in the radiation protection program
- Establish and maintain partnerships with clinical practitioners, medical physicists, and other stakeholders
A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in imaging and clinical physics, with a strong commitment to high clinical standards and excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Certification by the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine (CCPM) or other related equivalencies is preferred.
