Medical Physicist

Alberta Health Services is seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team at the Arthur Child Comprehensive Cancer Center in Calgary, Alberta. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the provision of high-quality, safe, and efficient imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical support and leadership in the development of new techniques and protocols
- Ensure high standards for imaging policies, processes, and systems
- Collaborate with clinical practitioners, medical physicists, and operational leaders to achieve quality and safety goals
- Participate in academic endeavors, including research, teaching, and mentoring
- PhD or equivalent in Medical Physics or Medical Health Physics
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in imaging and physics aspects of x-ray
- Experience in teaching adult learners and leadership/management roles
- Certification by the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine (CCPM) or equivalent
