Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Zone Medical Executive Director team
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive innovation and improvement in patient care and services
- Collaborate with senior leaders to promote a culture of excellence and accountability
- Lead the development and implementation of quality and safety initiatives
- Provide clinical and executive leadership to provincial initiatives
- Drive improvement and innovation in service delivery models
- Establish effective performance management within the Zone
- Develop and maintain a strong patient/client-centered focus and culture
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Executive Director with a strong track record of leadership and innovation in healthcare. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Medical Doctorate (with or without specialty) with evidence of past and ongoing leadership training
- CCPE/MBA/CHE is preferred
- 5-7 years' experience at a senior leadership level involved in the planning and delivering medical programs and services
- Experience engaging, mentoring and empowering teams and stakeholders in a collaborative, participative manner
- Successful record of achievement as a leader, including extensive experience in improvement and innovation in service delivery
- Exceptional communications and presentation skills, both verbal and written
