Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W Food Services of Canada Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard
  • Train new staff members in their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols, providing ongoing support and guidance as needed
  • Evaluate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and implement effective inventory management practices
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all food and service meet the highest standards
  • Respond promptly to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing regular reports for management review
  • Develop and implement work schedules that balance staff needs with business requirements
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver exceptional results
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Demonstrated expertise in time management, organization, and prioritization
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple competing demands on time and resources
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced food service environment, standing for extended periods and maintaining attention to detail throughout the shift.

Benefits:
  • A competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
