Job Description

The primary function of the Environmental Senior Field Coordinator is to assist the Environmental Project Manager with planning and completing projects. This role may be responsible for project management, budgets, timelines, deliverables, field completion of advanced programs, and preparation of technical reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead remediation programs, including Stage 1 and 2 ESAs, Phase I and II ESAs, soil and groundwater treatment, soil and groundwater monitoring, and risk assessments.
  • Lead reclamation programs, including Schedule B and detailed site assessments.
  • Manage project contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
  • Manage data and file compilation for internal and client databases.
  • Coordinate with and manage Contractors.
  • Maintain billable targets as set by Supervisor.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4+ years field experience related to contaminated sites/reclamation in BC.
  • 2-year technical diploma or degree in Environmental Sciences or Engineering.
  • Working towards an accredited designation recognized in BC is an asset.
  • Experience with writing and reviewing technical reports.
  • Experience with BCER Regulatory Guidelines.
  • Flexible work schedule to be able to work in the field.
