Job Title: Food Service Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- Establish work schedules
Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding workload. The ability to work in a team and maintain attention to detail is essential.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The successful candidate will be required to work in a physically demanding environment with a fast-paced workload. The ability to work in a team and maintain attention to detail is essential.
Personal Suitability: The successful candidate will possess excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
