Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels and ensure quality control.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and addressing customer complaints.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and optimize business operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management to inform business decisions and optimize operations.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
