About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Construction Estimator to join our team at Elid Construction Inc. in [Location]. This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects, including labour and material costs. They will also develop and implement cost monitoring and reporting systems, and collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the construction industry, preferably in estimating and quantity surveying.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, or equivalent experience
  • Civil, Commercial and/or industrial construction, Residential construction experience
