Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at RESIDENTIAL INSULATION SPECIALISTS INC. This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure.

The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and material costs, analyzing tenders, and advising on tendering procedures. They will also liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that cost estimates are accurate and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare estimates of labour and material costs;
- Analyze tenders and recommend awards;
- Advise on tendering procedures;
- Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors;
- Maintain directory of supplies and trade contractors.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g. construction management, engineering);
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in quantity surveying or a related field;
- Excellent analytical and communication skills;
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- A criminal record check;
- Membership in the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
