We are seeking a skilled Material Estimator to join our team at Budget Insulation & Drywall Ltd. as a permanent employee.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the movement of supplies and materials between departments, performing routine clerical duties, and coordinating traffic flow of supplies. They will also be required to read blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings, and estimate the type and quantity of materials and labor required for production, construction, and other projects.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
- Perform routine clerical duties
- Read blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings
- Estimate type and quantity of materials and labor required for production, construction, and other projects
- Compile worksheets and specifications of orders
- Prepare and maintain progress and other reports
- Provide customer service
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
- Construction company experience
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction company environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain.
