Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nursing educator to join our team at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. As a Practice Education Instructor, you will play a vital role in teaching, coaching, and supervising nursing students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and evaluate nursing students in a variety of settings, including classroom, lab, and clinical environments.
- Develop and maintain curriculum to ensure students receive a comprehensive education.
- Participate in program and campus activities, including industry and professional stakeholder engagement.
- Travel may be required for clinical placements and other program-related activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
- Minimum of two years recent and relevant experience as a registered nurse in acute care nursing.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to apply adult education principles and facilitate small group learning.
- Demonstrated competence in technology, including MS Office Suite and internet applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and value diversity.
