Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Parts Advisor to join our team at AWIN Group of Dealerships. As a key member of our Parts Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient sale and delivery of parts to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information about parts and accessories.
  • Parts Sales: Sell parts and accessories to customers through over-the-counter and phone sales.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure that parts are correctly checked against delivery notes, binned accordingly, and that the delivery note is signed.
  • Stockroom Management: Maintain a clean and organized stockroom, and ensure that all parts are properly stored and labeled.
  • Dispatch and Delivery: Pack and load parts correctly, and keep track of all dispatch documentation.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Report any stock damage or losses to the Parts Manager, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a retail auto parts department.
  • Skills: Proficient in CDK and/or Reynolds and Reynolds software systems, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
