Epic Games, a leading game development company with over 25 years of experience, is seeking an exceptional team lead to join its Fortnite character art production team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in driving the vision from start to finish and collaborating with teams to inspire and deliver projects of Epic quality.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and communicative individual who excels in managing schedules of complex projects, has a strong understanding of dependency-driven production methodologies, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working in games, have a firm grasp of a 3D art creation pipeline, and be comfortable managing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with art discipline leads to scope and schedule desired work for the team, ensuring successful on-time release of content to the Epic Art Quality bar.
  • Facilitate constant communication with the art production team and cross-department production teams, providing transparency on asset status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Schedule team meetings, run dailies art reviews, and provide actionable notes and follow-up to attendees.
  • Mentor and facilitate the growth of art production PAs.
  • JIRA task/bug entry, triage, and tracking for art teams.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a production role where you've managed art teams in the creation and delivery of high-quality art.
  • Deep understanding of dependency-driven pipelines, scheduling, and asset tracking, as well as project management practices and tools.
  • Ability to drive high-velocity, high-impact development cycles, balancing short-term needs and long-term vision.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings plans.
