Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Director to lead our Identity and Access Management (IAM) Onboarding Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that RBC application teams leverage the strategic IAM solution across all strategic capabilities.

Job Description

The IAM Onboarding Team is responsible for onboarding RBC service partners to IAM services. As a Director, you will provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality results.

You will work closely with the IAM engineering, operations, and program teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and more efficient operations. This will involve improving development processes, introducing effective tooling and practices, and eliminating redundant systems and procedures.

As a Director, you will also be responsible for drafting reports and presentations for various executive forums to achieve IAM strategic goals and ensure alignment to RBC risk appetite and governance.

You will work with business partners and application teams across RBC Enterprise to explain the onboarding process and document requirements. Additionally, you will ensure that onboarded applications continue to be complaint and provide consultative services to ensure requirements are following RBC Standards.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience leading IAM teams and projects, with extensive in-depth experience with IAM capabilities and solutions. They will also have strong understanding of IAM concepts and solutions designs for efficient security controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the IAM Onboarding Team
  • Work closely with IAM engineering, operations, and program teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and more efficient operations

  • Work with business partners and application teams to explain the onboarding process and document requirements

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience leading IAM teams and projects
  • Extensive in-depth experience with IAM capabilities and solutions
  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts and solutions designs for efficient security controls
  • Ability to manage, lead, prioritize, and execute with minimal direction or oversight in a high-pressure environment
  • Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously
